I Start To Believe You

Hi There,

The new Lola Kite album is out! Yeah, and it’s called I Start to Believe You (that’s right, just like the…).  Now is the time to start writing and recording again.  And now is the time to make a shift between the new HTM and LK songs. So that’s what i’m doing.  For you HTM lovers: i’ve got enough songs already to release a new album.  Would be weird to release it now, but i think it will be released this year.

Instrumental lyrics

As the cd will release in stores and iTunes at the end of this month, and the lyrics aren’t included i thought it would be a nice idea to make a pdf file containing the lyrics plus some artwork that fits the cd.  Nothing fancy, just a nice way to get your hands on the lyrics, if you would like that.

Here’s, as a teaser (oelala)for the first song, Hopping Shell.  It’s instrumental…

Here’s the artwork for ‘Into Outside’ (the carpet is 2x3 meters, it’s a pritty big cd..) 

All of you who want to purchase the cd will have to wait untill the 26th of August.  Then it’ll be in the stores, and on iTunes.  For the vinyl lovers out there: i’m busy with that, hope we can pull it off..

Hey daar,

Omdat jullie Hollanders zijn: even een post in het Nederlands. Vandaag is mijn debuut-plaat bij de Excelsior supporters op de mat gevallen, zo ook op die van mij.  Ik zit in Zeeland, met Lola Kite aan de tweede te werken en het is een goed gevoel te weten dat er nu op een x aantal plekken in Nederland mijn muziek geluisterd wordt.  Bedankt daarvoor!

Quick update! It’s mastered! The artwork is almost done.  Two more nights and it’s going to the printer (?).  But i will only believe it’s really happening when you’re holding the thing.  And now i’m going to enjoy my bed in Berlin.  Not bad here. No ba’ a’ all!!

Into Outside

Well, i guess i can say -without getting sentimental- that it is a dream come true knowing that my album will be released by some label some time soon!  I can’t say more than that… So, well…keep an eye on this site and the facebook page.  I’m a happy man, mixing the last dust out of the way and putting the artwork together.
